When we first broadcast our story on the so-called ‘Butcher of Bega’, the investigation was followed-up by media across the world. Yet we had our suspicions there were still more victims. Nothing could have prepared us for the enormity of the response. Hundreds of separate complaints from individual victims were logged by Lorraine Long’s Medical Error Action Group website.
